God’s Moving in the Lives of Farmers – Sri Lanka
Tea plantations in Sri Lanka are witnessing God move in the lives of rural farmers and their families through a grant funded project called “Nutrition for Life”. Led by Dr. Leslie Keegel and Pastor George Niranjan, nutritional meals and ministry are being provided regularly to area school children who labor in their family’s fields. Many living on limited resources, these children often labor long hours with little or no compensation (some even malnourished) - But now, thanks to the collective efforts of this regional outreach project lives have been changed and lasting relationships built with area families,teachers, and local officials. To date, over 491 people have made decisions to follow Christ, and 268 Holy Spirit Baptisms
have been recorded! Students, who were once struggling to keep up in their studies, are now excelling and will be fully prepared for their national examinations.
